Fluff piece

Off-topic, but fun anyway: Here is my article on the history of the Fluffernutter sandwich.

About Brigid Alverson

Brigid Alverson has been reading comics since she was 4. After earning an MFA in printmaking, she headed to New York to become a famous artist but ended up working with words instead of pictures, first as a book editor and later as a newspaper reporter. She started MangaBlog to keep track of her daughters’ reading habits and now covers manga, comics and graphic novels as a freelancer for School Library Journal, Publishers Weekly Comics Week, Comic Book Resources, the Barnes & Noble Sci-Fi & Fantasy Blog, and Robot 6. She also edits the Good Comics for Kids blog at School Library Journal. Now settled in the outskirts of Boston, Brigid is married to a physicist and has two daughters.

I just got hungry. And I’ve never had one of these.

    Until recently, I never had a s’more either. ^_^

I was hoping you’d explain that story in more detail ^^.

Now I’d really like to try the Egyptian version.

  3. Ardith says:

I bought the ingredients today during lunch… it was evilly delicious. I like them better than s’mores.

BWA-HA-HAaaa! My evil plan is working!

  5. Brigid says:

Ardith, my editor wants me to do an Easter story on Marshmallow Peeps. Consider yourself warned!

  6. Ardith says:

    Oh no! Not the peeps!!

You know, every few years I think that they will really, really, really taste good and I go out and eat a bunch of them. Unfortunately, they never live up to my childhood memories. That, and for some reason I just get sad eating the poor things. They are looking at me!!

I wonder if you can do a peep s’more….

BTW, I have told my co-workers to eat the rest of the marshmallow cream. It is too evil to live. *laugh*
