Otaku Champloo has an interesting post about a recent Oricon survey, in Japan, of the most amazing women in manga.

Ed has the Japanese manga bestseller list for last week and info on new titles from 801 and June.

    Le Chevalier d’Eon — wow, he gave this book a great review. I’m still a little mixed on exactly what type of book this is but it is well done despite some flaws.

    I thought the artwork for the Chevalier manga was a little awkward in places, but it’s an enjoyable read. I liked it better than the anime, which introduced so many characters and subplots that I had trouble differentiating them, and somehow managed to make the Russian monarchy look… dull.
